Plan Your Visit
At Community Arts, we believe everyone has an artist inside them—sometimes, they just need a brush and a little inspiration. Drop in, choose a pottery piece you love, and let your creativity flow!
*Please note that we are a cashless studio and accept all major credit cards for easy checkout.
What to Expect
- Time: Most guests spend about 1 to 2 hours painting. Take your time and enjoy the process!
- Cost: Each piece is priced individually, plus a small paint fee (free–$6) that covers all supplies, glazing, and firing. *We are a cashless studio, so please plan accordingly.
- Group Visits: Groups are welcome! Give us a quick call ahead of time so we can make sure space is available.
- Pickups: Your finished piece will be ready for pickup in seven to ten days. We’ll hold it for 30 days after it’s fired. (Pieces not picked up will be donated or given away in the studio.)
- All Ages Welcome: Kids, adults, families, and friends—everyone’s invited to get creative!
Tips for a Great Visit
- Wear something comfortable; remember, “paint happens!”

How it Works
At Community Arts, we do things a little differently. We want creativity to be accessible and affordable, so instead of high pottery prices that limit how often you can come in and paint, we’ve kept the cost per item low and added a small paint fee.
This nominal fee—ranging from $0 for small items up to $6 for larger pieces—covers all paints, brushes, tools, and supplies you’ll need to bring your vision to life.
PICK YOUR POTTERY – Choose from mugs, plates, figurines, seasonal pieces, and more. Prices range from $2 to $50, plus the paint fee (see above).
PAINT YOUR DESIGN – We provide all the brushes, paints, stencils, and tools you’ll need. Our team is here to help with tips and inspiration.
LEAVE IT WITH US – We’ll glaze and fire your piece in our kiln. You can pick it up in seven to ten days.
ENJOY YOUR MASTERPIECE – Your pottery is food-safe and ready to use or gift!
